Are you our next IT Service Desk Analyst

Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model.

Grade: Assistant

Contract type: Permanent

A snapshot of your peer group:

  • B.Sc. Honours in an IT related field.
  • 2-3 year’ experience on a previous a Service Desk .
  • Advanced skills in the use of administration of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.
  • An aptitude in understanding and adapting to new technology.
  • The successful candidate will have a demonstratable enthusiasm for technology.
  • While training is provided previous experience in supporting ServiceNow, Active Directory, SAP, Microsoft 365 suite, Cisco VPN, VMWare, Azure Virtual Desktop, Enterprise telecoms systems and/or Web Services would be beneficial.
  • ITIL Foundation or Prince2 Certification would be beneficial.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • An ability to work well within a team environment.
  • An ability to work on one’s own initiative and manage personal objectives.

 

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

  • Ensure all incidents and service requests are properly logged, updated regularly and resolved in a timely fashion. Ensure sufficient details are included should there be a need for escalation to other teams.
  • Receive, log, distribute and follow up on all incidents / service requests escalated within IT across multiple different channels (i.e., phone, email, self-service). Troubleshoot these calls to a satisfactory resolution. 
  • Management and support of the internal processes for new hires, promotions, and leavers.  
  • Administration and support of the mobile device fleet via Intune (iPhones and iPads).
  • Management of small – midsize processes and IT projects.
  • Administration and support of the IT security policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers in relation to issues.

 

Your team:

This ServiceDesk offers support from 08:00am – 20:00pm Monday to Friday which is done on a pro-rata basis. Some weekend work is also required, though this is usually in the form of on-call support fulfilled from home during the hours of 10:00am – 18:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
