Are you our next International Tax Manager?

We have an opportunity for an International Tax Manager role in our corporate tax department. KPMG is Ireland’s leading and largest tax practice.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing corporation tax advisory and compliance services for a portfolio of clients. 

At KPMG, our people work with Ireland’s most successful businesses, from listed public limited companies to owner managed businesses and everything in between.

Your client portfolio will consist of clients with global/international operations in a variety of industries primarily life sciences, technology, real estate and retail. This will help you develop broad commercial skills and insights across industries.

A snapshot of your peer group:

• Qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent) and/or member of the Irish Taxation Institute
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax and an interest in international tax projects and developments. Minimum of four and a half years in a professional tax environment, in practice or in industry including some time at manager grade or equivalent.

Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and leading the delivery of high-quality commercial tax advice.
• Advising on business structures, cross border expansions, financings and refinancings.
• Managing tax controversy, dispute resolution and other aspects of tax authority enquiries, including in cross border cases.
• Advising on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions from due diligence, acquisition structuring and post-acquisition business integration. 
• Preparing your clients for new tax developments, including Pillar 2, and helping client teams to restructure and evolve to meet tax challenges of the future. 
• Managing the delivery of corporate tax returns and advising on related planning opportunities.
• Managing and mentoring a high performing team.
