Are you our next Personal Tax Compliance Associate Director and Manager?

Location: Dublin, as part of our hybrid working model

Grade: Associate Director / Manager

Contract type: Permanent.


A snapshot of your peer group:

  • Membership of the Irish Taxation Institute (or equivalent foreign institute)
  • Excellent tax technical and client service delivery skills, including detailed knowledge of Irish income tax, capital gains tax and other personal taxes. Excellent written and numerical ability.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a professional services tax environment in Global Mobility and/or Private Clients, with ideally at least 1 year of this experience at manager level in a similar role.
  • Ability and experience in project management, delegation, and service delivery on allocated clients to meet all relevant deadlines.
  • Ability and experience coordinating global or regional tax services for cross border clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills.

  • Delivering and coordinating personal tax compliance services for our Irish and multinational clients.
  • Managing, delegating, and reviewing work on allocated clients, including responsibility for project management and timely service delivery;
  • Managing a team of tax professionals in the delivery of such services to include an active role in the performance appraisal process;
  • Reviewing personal tax returns.
  • Researching and resolving tax technical issues arising in the personal tax compliance process.
  • Liaising closely with personal tax clients including cross border assignees, the advisory tax team and KPMG global offices to provide a first-class client experience.
  • Creating and improving processes for the delivery of the personal tax compliance services
  • Coaching and mentoring the tax team including presenting in-house tax training courses.

You will be joining a department/team with over 750 tax professionals and 42 partners, KPMG in Ireland is the largest and most successful tax advisory firm. We provide deeply technical, strategic, and timely advice to enable individuals, employees and employers make well informed decisions while managing compliance obligations. Our clients include start-ups and multinational corporates, entrepreneurs, and family businesses. Our team works regularly with People & Change, Deal Advisory, Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing teams within KPMG to provide well rounded and comprehensive advice to clients.
